What is ‘Theatre For All’?

Theatre for all is a creative theatre program for young people aged 11+. Giving young people a chance to explore both onstage theatre craft as well as off stage skills. This will be a place where young people can make positive choices about the issues that concern them by empowering them to use their voice in standing up against crime and issues around safety within the community. Young people can use these workshops and performance to start a conversation, to alter risk taking behaviours in a positive way, find a safe space to explore new skills, learn something new, be creative and use their voice positively. They will learn key skills such as good time management, teamwork, problem solving, creative thinking, marketing and as a way to develop their own personal skill set which will be useful in future job opportunities. As well this they will gain confidence in working individually, good speaking skills, body language and how to use your own voice for positive change.
