A Chance for Young People to Express Themselves Creatively
Theatre for All is a fully funded creative theatre program for young people aged 11+. It gives them a chance to explore both onstage theatre craft and offstage skills. Young people take part in dance, drama, and singing sessions, as well as script writing, production, prop making, costume, choreography, and music.
A Vibrant Introduction to Theatre Craft and Youth Voice.
This is a creative place where young people can not only discover and develop Theatre Arts skills but also make positive choices about the issues that concern them in their communities. We use theatre arts to empower young people to use their voice, stand up against crime and issues around safety within their communities.
This program provides a great chance for young people to express themselves creatively, gain self-confidence and work together to create an inspiring piece of theatre.
A Relaxed Environment where Young People can feel Empowered, speak up, and be listened to.
Young people can use these workshops and performances to start a conversation, to alter risk-taking behaviours in a positive way, find a safe space to explore new skills, be creative and use their voice positively. They will learn key skills such as good time management, teamwork, problem solving, creative thinking, marketing and as a way to develop their own personal skill set, which will be useful in future job opportunities. They will also gain confidence in working individually, good speaking skills, body language and how to use your voice for positive change.
A minimum of 10 dynamic, creative in person and online workshop sessions run by theatre practitioners and youth work professionals.
Sessions are led by theatre arts professionals and experienced youth workers who provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for young people to thrive creatively. It’s a great opportunity for young people to embark on a unique and exciting experience that will help them tap into their creative side.
