EBGC Under 16 Football Representative Squad
Each year the EBGC invites clubs to nominate players to take part in trials for the Essex Boys and Girls Clubs Under 16 Representative Football Squad. The squad is made up of players who are members of clubs affiliated to Essex Boys and Girls Clubs.
Those selected for the squad have the honour of playing for the team and our fixture list this year includes matches against Leyton Orient, Ipswich Town, Tottenham Hotspur and Southend United.
The squad also play in an Easter Tour against other counties including Durham and Northumberland. The squad will also play matches against other counties closer to home including Hertfordshire C.Y.P. and London Youth.
Players that show potential in the squad may then be invited by EBGC to represent them in the England trials that take place in London normally in January.
