

The fit for action programme has been in operation for a number of years through the EBGC. It is delivered in clubs by our staff and tests young people’s strength, stamina, agility and overall fitness through a series of tests including the Grip Test, Press Up’s, Sit and Reach and the Standing Jump.
The first test results provide a basis for the young people who are then given ideas of ways to improve their fitness over a period of time before the next set of tests, where you will see if any improvements have been made! This is a great way to add variety to a club programme whilst encouraging young people to be healthy.
